DRESS YOUR DIGS

We know you have good style and follow fashion trends but you’re not the only one that needs primping. Your apartment, house, condo, etc… whatever you may call it, here are things to make it personal, make it reflect your style, make it home.

ROCK 3 DIFFERENT LOOKS

The best part about fashion is playing dress up, getting to change your style for different occasions, on different days. Blake Lively does a great job at portraying these three different looks; Modern, Boho and Classic and all super chic. Below are a few ways to get these looks and incredible personal style for day, special occasions or an evening out on the town.

MODERN: flashy graphic prints.
BOHO: long maxi style dress with a chic design.
CLASSIC: Sleek silhouettes with a touch of added flair.

5 BEAUTY TRICKS

5 FUN BEAUTY TRICKS

SEXY SOFT BED HEAD WAVES:
TIP: Go to bed with damp hair. The next day wind a few sections around a curling iron and finger-comb. Easy!
 HIGHLIGHT:
TIP: Use a fan brush to create a C shape—start at the inner corner of the eye, swoop over the brow bone and onto your cheekbones. To add even more shine run a little down the bridge of your nose, above the middle of your lips and your chin.

Extra: add a nude gloss and a shimmer to the chest to highlight your natural assets. J
BLUE NOT BLACK:

TIP: Use blue shadow to line your eyes instead of black to get a softer eye. This still has a smokey effect but gives you more of a sexy bedroom eye than a punk rocker eye.

TWO TONE SHADOW:

TIP: Use a lighter shade on top and a fun bright color on the bottom to add a fun young but glamorous touch. Make sure the top shade is a metallic or neutral shade two bright colors could be overkill.
60’s LASHES:
TIP: Use your false lashes only on the bottom to get a unique vintage doll look. This will make you look bright eyed without having to worry about messy mascara clumping or running under your eyes.

TREND

TREND:  MENS ACCESSORIES

WIDE BRIMMED HATS ARE A SEXY TWSIT ON A CLASSIC MENSWEAR ITEM. THESE CELEBS KNOW JUST HOW TO WORK THE LOOK…

DIP DYE

More chic than a tie-dye and easy to make....

Dip-Dye with Fabric Dye

Tools and Materials

Sheer jersey long-sleeve T-shirt, in light tone
Large plastic storage bin or steel bin
Stir stick
All-purpose liquid dye
Sample fabric or paper towel
Sewing pins

How-To:

1. Wash and dry fabric to remove any finishes that resist dye. Fill plastic bin with hot water to a depth of at least 6 inches. Stir in dye, starting with a small amount and adding more as desired. Dip a sample strip of fabric or paper towel to test the color. If too dark, add water; if too light, add dye. Let solution settle, so there are no bubbles at the surface.

2. Determine where you want the top of the dyed band to be; use pins to mark that line on fabric. Holding your fabric as straight as possible, dip into dye solution to just below the pin line (make sure you don't dip the pins; the fabric will wick the dye higher). Keep fabric in dye until it turns the desired color (it will dry slightly lighter). Rinse fabric in cold
